Reading progress update: I've read 16 out of 404 pages.
I also started this. It's High Fantasy. It's pretty good. So far. Also it's Fantasy with POCs. :D That makes me happy. You have no idea. I will say that it took me a minute to figure out what was going on at one point, but that was more my fault than the book's/author's. (I read the synopsis/summary before but didn't read it recently enough that when I started reading it kind of made one the events/concepts a small/wee bit confusing but after I re-read it everything made sense again.).
