"The Silent Girl" by Tess Gerritsen -- A Book Review

The Silent Girl - Tess Gerritsen

So, I finished this a few days ago but I wanted to give it time to soak in before I commented it on it.

All in all, I liked this book. In fact, this has quickly become a favorite author of mine, and to have that happen with one book, especially me, is kind of shocking. I usually try to give it two books, or at least read a bit more of an author's work before I do that. But with this, Gerritsen has made me fall even further in love with her characters more than the TV series did.

I guess the biggest thing to say is that it isn't like the tv show. And what I mean by that is that the characters are different, in terms of descriptions, and even the focus/POV is different (i.e., instead of focusing on Rizzoli and Isles, it focuses more on Jane Rizzoli).

Other than that, I can't really think of anything else that bothered me about it. I found the story interesting, and I even found myself on the edge of my seat once I got toward the end of novel and The Big Reveal was about to happen.

All in all, it was good and I liked it.
