"The Cupid Effect" by Dorothy Koomson -- A Book Review

The Cupid Effect - Dorothy Koomson

So, this took a little bit longer to finish than I thought it would. This is not to say that it was bad. But it was...slowly paced I guess. It took me a while to figure out what was really going on and what was happening. So, basically, what the story was about. The romance, as far as the main character goes, wasn't as important or didn't really come into play. The book focused more on her coming into her own and even the lives of the characters(and all of them coming into their own as well). I did think it was good and well written. I also thought it was funny. (Maybe not as funny as The Chocolate Run by this same author). But I did have some moments where I giggled/laughed at something that was said. Either way. I am glad that I read it, But it was still quite slow read but also enjoyable. Which is why it was so hard for me to rate it. And I'm going back and forth between 3.5 and 4 stars out of 5.
