The Color Purple
I enjoyed this book. So much so I read it in three or four days. It broke my reading slump big time, and I was having a hard time reading. The Color Purple lived up everything I thought it would. I was surprised by some of the content, but it didn't really take away from the novel. The book does contain differences from the movie, and I now see why it's so important to read the book. I'm trying to find all of the words, but I really can't. It's just a good novel, and it is a true classic.
